Learn more about Liz Priestley

Liz Priestley is a practising artist living and working in the village of Manilla in northern NSW. she completed studies at Julian Ashton Art School and has since exhibited in solo and group shows within Australia. Her work is known for its romantic rendering of landscapes, imagined or otherwise, and are an exploration of the subject, viewed via a nostalgic lens.

Priestley deliberately employs encaustic (wax) as a medium in her creative process, drawn to its architectural essence and its capacity for reduction. This allows her to construct a narrative by building up or selectively carving, scraping and melting away.

Artworks currently on exhibition will be shipped once the exhibition concludes.
