A Portrait
Lichen, Moss and Fungi

A series of six works, 2026, 53x70cm
Wool, acrylic fibres and cloth, mounted on board.

For this series, I explore the growth of Lichens, moss and fungi.
Through this exploration, I became drawn on how these organisms co-exist and become apart of other lives.
Lichen clings to bark, moss gathering on surfaces, and fungi growing from decay. These exchanges highlight to me the extent and intention creation has provided space for. Small and quiet forms that hold a purpose for its community of growth around them.

These works sit somewhere between imagination and observation.

A portrait of Lichen, Moss and Fungi.
