Artist CV

Joshua Andree (b.1992) is a landscape painter living and working in Hobart, Tasmania. Andree studied at the University of Tasmania’s College of Fine Art, graduating with Honours in 2015.

Andree has exhibited nationally on a regular basis since graduating. Andree has been a finalist in numerous prizes, including the Henry Jones Art Prize, the prestigious Glover Prize, TIDAL hosted by the Devonport Regional Gallery and in 2023, received an honourable mention in the Hadley’s Prize for Landscape painting, along with both peoples’ choice and packing room prizes.

Andree’s work is held in the Macquarie Group Collection and private collections both nationally and internationally.
