School Visits

School groups are welcome to visit the gallery by appointment only.
PLEASE BOOK YOUR SCHOOL APPOINTMENT HERE

Unfortunately school groups that do not have an appointment will not be admitted into the gallery.
Please note that due to the large number of student groups visiting the gallery, we are not able to answer individual questions. To ensure that your trip to FLG is a smooth one we ask that teachers also read through the following information sheet regarding school visits for you to impart to your class prior to entering the gallery space.

Gallery etiquette information

Over the years we have fielded a large number of school enquiries and as a result have put together the following information sheets to assist with Studio Arts assignments. Please see the educational resource PDF documents below for further information about the gallery.

Artist Enquiries

INFORMATION FOR PROFESSIONAL AUSTRALIAN-BASED ARTISTS

FLG has a large gallery stable and a full exhibition program and are not actively seeking to sign on new Australian-based artists for representation. We are however happy to receive emails from artists with links to a concise overview of their professional practice. We review these when there is the opportunity to do so. Due to the large volume of emails we receive we cannot provide feedback on all occasions.  Please do not send physical folios of your artwork, as we cannot return them to you or provide feedback.

INFORMATION FOR EMERGING AUSTRALIAN-BASED ARTISTS

If you’re an emerging or unsigned Australian-based artist and are interested in the possibility of being shortlisted for our annual Exploration exhibition, then you are welcome to email details of your practice, including images of recent work, website or social media links, a comprehensive CV and a short artist bio to our Assistant Director at assistant (at) flg.com.au Our selection process for Explorations takes place between Feb-April of each year.
